Re: Paypal experts needed
Years ago, in the beginning
, I tried making a purchase with the credit union account, thinking there was enough cash in it.
PayPal made one attempt at the account, insufficient, then charged my credit card. It worked as it should. But I got dinged by the credit union for $20.
From what you are saying, they now make multiple hits on your account, that sucks.
About 4 years ago, the credit union finally set up full service online banking, so now I just check the balance in that account before using paypal.
Then transfer more $$ into that account if I need more funds for the purchase.
And the credit card option is always there if I should ever need it.
Yes, it is a good idea to keep paypal segregated from your regular bank accounts.
And also a good idea to keep the balance low in the paypal associated account.
I also have multiple ebay accounts.
One is my main selling/buying account.
One is for purchases from shady or untrusted sellers, they guys that seem to get a lot of negative feedback, or give negatives all the time. If they give me negative feedback, so what, no one will ever see it.
Normally I would just not buy from them, but sometimes there is no alternative.
And one is for the girlfriend to use, cause I don't want her to mess up my rating.
