my old seals on the bottom crank had one 1 seal guess was a carbon seal my gasket set came with 2 seals do they replace the old one and how are they to be installed see pics<br /> http://community.webshots.com/user/cluke3

The second picture are the seals from the kit?<br /><br />Take your old carbon seal, and dig out the quad ring from the centre of it. Be careful because the carbon seal is very brittle and will crack. Then place in the new quad seal. The other seal looks like the top crank seal. If I'm right about that, it'll have an OD of about 1.5".
