Well, first things first. There's no reason to be wary of pulling and repacking the bearings. There's really nothing to it. Or, are you saying you're afraid of what you might find? If so, all the more reason to take a peek, especially if you haven't done so since the boiling grease incident. I assume we're talking about a 2002 model trailer. If so, you'll probably at least need wheel cylinders. We'll be glad to help you dig into it if you want, but your best bet would be to start a new thread and tell us exactly what happened and what you've done since. It's up to you, but based on the little you've said I'm guessing you're a candidate for a road side emergency right now. How do I know? Well, let's not get into that.........:facepalm:
