Rewiring a 1972 Mercury 110 9.8. Of course 80% of the wires are rotted. I'm trying to figure out where to get the parts. I need to replace the wire with the insulator but cant find anything older than a 1975 year.

yeah she's an old one I have not seen points in a long time

See if you can work the threaded stud or screw out of the white insulator and replace the wire with a small ring connector under the screw.

your wire looked just like mine. Pain in butt finding and replacing wires. I settled for a 2010 harness and wired it up. cobbled together but works lol
