Was wondering if anyone knows of a good parts source for a '72 Merc 20 hp short shaft?
(New or used parts) A good website, catalog or phone # ????? I was told Crawley Marine had some parts but every place I look says: No parts Available!......I know there are some places who specialize in vintage parts and so on, I guess you would call my motor a vintage/classic?????? Any referrals is greatly appreciated!(Looking for a lower unit prop shaft seal, and a electric starter motor and required hardware)

Just a few that come to mind. Shop around and you're likely to find what you need.

And don't forget ebay, at any given time there's a ton of used Merc parts listed.

Once you find the part number at one of the sites, even if it shows as no longer available, do a Google search on the part number. I've found parts that were listed as NLA that were in stock at other web sites.
