Parts lists with part numbers

I’ve got a 2007 5.0GXI G and I’m having trouble looking up my serpentine belt part number. My shop manual doesn’t list any part numbers. Is there a separate manual or reference somewhere to easily look up part numbers for a model year or serial series engine? Thanks

It should be VP Part No. 3586326. What aftermarket brands / part nos. also work i do not know. At one point i got told a Goodyear Gatorback 4060990 would work. I do not recall it if it was too large or small, but did not work.

I used to use the iBoats parts store as the master part no. reference, but it has changed its look and feel and frankly i cannot make sense of it (yet). I plugged in the VP part no. and got nothing. And could only find V-Belts (not Serpentine) so i must be doing something wrong.

I agree with ESG, it used to be easy to drill down to the part you need with the old iboats interface. But now it’s not that simple. Other sites I used to use don’t seem to be there anymore either.
Scott thanks for that website. It’s a bit clunky but better than nothing. That’s the new and improved world we live in I guess.

a while back, iBoats was the north american VP distributor. the website volvopentastore.com used to be great. however with the change in iBoats ownership, that synergy with Volvo went away. The link I posted works to find parts. it helps if you know what you are looking for.

Actually the Volvo site below points to part number 3817287. Im also looking for tensioner and idle pulley and I’m not confident in the part numbers. They give a diagram with all the parts numbered, but no reference to look up those numbers. Very frustrating.

Apologies I must have fat fringed the part no. or looked up the wrong variant.
I have found that this link uses a parts finder like how the old VP store worked.
I looked up your engine and sure enough came back with your number 3817287 for the belt and 3885250 for the tensioner and 3861009 for idler. Check it out.

Yeah that website works pretty well. Whats the best source for actual OE Volvo parts? I’ve learned over the years to stick with OE parts.

Go to the VP web site and use engine s/n to look up part by type. You an use the engine model but using the engine s/n gives the best updated info.
