Can someone tell me the name of the part that the coils, points and plugs attach to on a 1961 10hp evinrude. model 10022. Mine is cracked and I would like to get a replacement.

It is part number 580283, changed to 584810, armature plate. It is only $240.00 at the dealer. Send me a PM if you want a cheap used one.

I would like to get a used one. I also need need coils and spark plug wires.

I belive it is the plate. It is attached by screws,not pressed on the shaft.
