Hi guys I have a question about painting a aluminum v hull , Its just a project I'm working on to get me off the shore and mobile on the water .
Stripped her clean of old paint wiped her down with solvent and primed her up with an etching primer . I did a camo design with the Rustoleum spray paint my question is should I / would any of you put some kind of clear coat on to protect the paint , if so any recommendations ? thanks

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,....
I wouldn't. Just makes touch ups that much more difficult.
Agreed,.... Clear-coat ain't what it's cracked up to be, 'n most definitely complicates repairs,.....

The slow cure 5200 is used for getting product into hard to reach places. I used it on my Alumacraft project. Using a heat gun to warm the metal and seam up, then put the slow cure 5200 down, it flowed into the area needing to be resealed easily. 3-5 days later it was fully cured.
