Painting 1984 Force Upper Cowl

Took forever to remove foil decal from cowl and finally had to sand the remainder off but also sanded through the paint and primer on most of it. I believe the cowl is made of fiberglass or a type of plastic. What should I prime and paint it with since it is a little flexible?
