How do you restore the paint on a boat that is metalic. I am looking at an older Ranger that has some areas that have turned an opaque. Can this just be lightly sanded an clearcoated?<br /><br />Thanks
Assuming its not down to the flake, it depends on how bad the oxidation is. Try sanding it with 1000 grit wet and see if it goes back pretty much clear. If so, just buff it with medium compound and wax.<br /><br /> Boat Parts
