We just bought a 1999 Sugar Sand Tango 4+2 Jet Boat and plan on re-doing the entire boat (new seats, dashboard, windshields, graphics, etc).

Wondering if anyone knows how to re-finish the plastic decorative pieces, such as the dashboard, console around the radio, and the air vents next to the engine lid??? They are currently blue, but extremely sun-faded. We would like to change the color to yellow. Not sure of those pieces can be re-stained somehow, or if we would have to use an epoxy-type paint.

Appreciate any ideas!!!

Use SEM paint product for plastics. This is what we use to change the color of vinyl and plastic parts in boats and autos. I do custom hydrographics. I can change your faded dashes and plastics to look like wood or a number of other patterns. SEM is uv stable. You will not have any problems with it. Just follow the directions! there are a few pictures of some pontoon dash parts I did last summer on my facebook page www.facebook.com/lowcountryhydroprint check it out.
