My Bennett trim tabs have been on my boat since 1981 and look the same today as then did when installed. Boat is used 50 percent in salt water but rinse when remove form salt water and is stored on trailer in back yard.
Most standard antifouling paint is suitable for use on stainless trim tabs. If you keep your boat in salt water AF paint is very important. Normally we install some zinc anodes on the trim tabs as well.
