OK, I have been all over looking for a waterpump kit and actually ended up ordering it from a huge Merc. dealer up by Lake Erie a few weeks ago. I called to check on my order today and they said all these kits are back-ordered till April 17th and there are none available anywhere in the USA. On top of that even though it says April 17th there is apparantly no guarantee. So in a worst case scenario, these could be back ordered for months...some kind of parts supply problem I guess.
Elvin, I would have gladly ordered the kit from you if I could be sure it was the same thing. I have been told gear case parts are often different. Is there any way you could provide me a link to an actual picture of what this kit looks like? (In addition to the impeller etc. I also would need the housing and cup if that helps.)
I want to thank you in advance for anything you can do, and I realize there aren't always pictures available even to folks like you. So I'm not holding you to anything.
I just can't believe for a motor this new from a dealer like Mercury there aren't any water pump kits available. I could understand if it were a head or something like that....but a water pump kit???
