i'm looking for the little black linkage that links the upper and lower carb together
this goes on a 79" 70 merc
if ya have any idea whee to get one quickly let me know

The part you're after is called a 'coupling assy' and its part number is -60929A1. This is the web address for a company that sells on line is

The part costs $12.87, if it's the part you're looking for. If you post your engine serial number I can be definite about the part number, and I will post a drawing for you to verify the correct part.
