Hello, I have an E-series MFD. My transducer fell off and i presume that the only compatible transducer is P58. (Is this correct) Now, I have a dilemma from the cross-reference. I think only OEM part A102138 (Aimar 31-714-1-01) is the one that is compatible.

But I also embarked on 31-714-1-03 which is not in the cross-reference list. So, what is the difference and is it compatible?

Any other advice and info would be appreciated

Depends on your interpretation of "compatible".

Are you trying to match performance characteristics or the mating connector?

Thanks for your answer. Well, I would like to have speed, temperature, and Depth, keeping in mind that E-series is obsolete what else could I add:) What other transom transducers are compatible please (I probably have to add an adapter cable?)

The P58 is a "budget minded" transducer.

Since better sonar performance isn't on your list, the P66 or P66-DST buys you nothing over the P58.

In reality, the connector is your primary limitation on what you can use. Adaptor cables are few and far between until you get into the high end stuff. You could go with a break out box but that would cost you more than buying a new transducer outright

Thanks again, all in all, what would you recommend I should do/buy?

Depends on the size of the existing unit and whether or not it still fits your needs.

If you like the unit buy a new P58. If not, it's time to go shopping. Lots of sales going on right now.

Close outs on the Garmin echomap series are some of the best deals around right now
