Working on unrelated issue noticed the small vent hose from the oil container is hanging loose . Connected too top plastic nipple of the oil cannister
, . Possibly right in front of me , I just dont see where this hose connects too ,
On the plastic that covers carbs on the bottom is two plastic nipples that currently has two hoses connected ,
Hose is long enough too connect too one of those nipples? should there be a TEE connecting all these hoses ,
or that vent hose connects someplace else

thanks

I thought that the drain hose from the bottom of the oil tank hooked up to the top of the tank when you were not draining the contaminants out of the bottom of the oil tank on the motor.
but that may not be true on what ever OX 66 motor you are talking about

thanks for getting back , there is a drain hose capped bottom , I am referring too top were the cap is with wiring , next too this cap is a thin vent hose , I see it referred too in OX 66 , diagram just no routing that is clear
OX 66
2 stroke - 250 hp - early 2000's - carb
its long enough too reach front with the other hoses connected too carb cover

complete motor ID helps other know what you are talking about.
but I guess you have no idea what you have so it is what it is.
I am sure Yamaha did not cap off the drain, but I could be wrong I guess
