Hi All. I just purchased a 1990 Dynasty Classic (I think it's a Classic). I've googled in hopes of finding the owners manual (preferably in pdf format). But, I've had no luck in finding one. Any advice or direction in finding one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome aboard.

You can Google 'til the cows come home and it is extremely doubtful you will ever find an Owner's Manual for a 28 year old boat. Heck, in some cases 5 years old is too old. Boats aren't like cars with a fairly comprehensive Owner's Manual.

What do you need help with? We can help with almost anything.

"Owners Manual" of boats is a safety brochure telling you that the pointy end is the bow and there is a list of servicing dealers

Nothing specific. But thanks for the reply. Just thought it would be nice to have. Any idea how I can tell what model it is?

Any suggestions from the paper work or the capacity plate?

Not that I can decipher. It starts with 2 letters "MJ". than a bunch of numbers with the letter "L" in the middle of the string of numbers.

Oooops - re-read your post. Any idea where the capacity plate is located. Sorry - I'm kind of a rookie.

No worries - check up near the helm. Sometimes on the bow riders they'll be in the walk-through. Smaller boats they may be in the back around or in the engine bay.

I'll check when it stops raining. Thanks again. Another question? What is this thing (pics attached)? It looks like the cable / line runs up to the dash? Ugh. I can't upload any photos. It keeps saying "Unknown Error" when I click the upload button. Any advice? I read the tutorials and followed those instructions but still can't upload.

Looks like a transducer. Do you have a depth sounder or plotter on board?

Yep. I sure do. Listen. I feel guilty just coming on here and basically "using" y'all for your information. Anything I can do to give back to the community?

your title or registration will have boat specific information

your transducer should be bolted to a bracket on the transom

ask questions, learn, then give back to the community when you can. we all learned somewhere.

Like Scott said ... next fella' who asks what the "gizmo" cabled to his helm is, tell him it's a transducer ;) Look up some of my old posts, and you'll find I got a lot of help around here too.
