I just bought an 1968 Aero Craft and I assume the 2 cycle Johnson 100 hp outboard moter is original. It runs great and I am having no issues right now but I would like to ask a couple questions.

1- Where can I download an owners manual and/or a repair manual?

2- I want to know if the motor has a built in charging system for my battery?

You can't download a manual. They are for sale at iboats (Seloc/Clymer) or www.outboardbooks.com .(OEM) There are CDs usually available on ebay.

The motor does have a charging system.

I have another question! Is this motor able to run in salt water??? And if so, do I need any modifications??

It will run in salt water just fine, but you have to meticulously maintain it and flush with fresh water after every use.
