Overheating Problem

I have a 1968 Evinrude Sportsman with 155HP Buick 225 Motor. Took the boat out and noticed a couple things.

#1 It is Only "Peeing" out the Left Side of the Sterndrive.

#2 When running the Boat at Mid RPM's, the Overheat Light will come on.

Why would the Sterndrive only Pee out the One Side? The Impeller is obviously
working??? If the Motor is Getting Water to both sides of the Engine, what would make it
overheat. Motor has New Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor, Oil, Filter Etc...

The old Stringers are kinda' funny ... my drive is submerged most of the time, so you never really see the telltale. On land the blasted things spits water out all over the place

Has it ever "peed" out the right side? When was the impeller last changed? When was your thermostat last changed?

You could have a bad manifold or riser on which ever side it is not "peeing" Port or Starboard? L or R doesn't tell us for sure which side.
