Just rebuilt carbs on J60ELCNM 1982. Started it up and had fuel flowing out the top left corner of the top carb as the motor is sitting in the water. I've set the float at 3/4 like the rebuild instructions said, any suggestions?

Yes, I read your sticky before I even started rebuilding and respect your opinion very much Tasha'sDaddy, I'm glad you're online this evening. So I just didn't get the bowl screwed down tight enough?

possibly, would be my first guess or a wrinkle in the gasket. a picture would help if that doesn't cure it. to test with the carb level, just connect the hoses, rather than mount it, and pump the bulb.

Hey Tdaddy. I tightened up the 4 bolts and that seemed to do the trick. Of course that's the carb I used the sierra kit on because the local store only had one BRP kit, because the gasket on the sierra kit is really ousing out.
Thanks! Tim in Indiana
