outboard has a miss or it sputters

should i check electric first or fuel.and what could be the cause. If any one could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

check compression first. what year and horsepower is your motor?

compression is 90 on all cylinders and its an 88 evinrude 200 hp

good compression, you have two more systems to check, 1st= ignition, check for spark, possibly change the spark plugs if yours are old or burnt, 2nd= fuel, you might try cleaning the carbs.
