Our local dock in Long Island NY

winter view from our house, some years it does freeze enough to walk on it

Eaton's Neck, Northport Long Island with Connecticut in the far distance, here it's only about 10 miles across

Lake Raystown, Huntingdon, PA ... taken from Hawn's Overlook (a short walk from Rightenour's Overlook that is above the dam).

Was there last fall ... the water is a lot higher now than it was 10 months ago!

Yes, last year this time the lake was about 70-75% full, this year it’s right at about 99% and monsoon season is starting soon. We had a wet winter that really filled up a lot of the reservoirs

Yep, no “ring around the lake” this year!!!!

That appears to be Schoolhouse where mine are at. The courtesy dock is about up to the top of the cables this year, rather than way down. According to the lake report, we have about 40’ of water at the end of the ramp at the moment
