Out Drive Drain Plug Question

Ok might have gotten the plugs mixed up. 1990 mercruiser 3.0 Alpha 1 out drive upper and lower.
You have 2 drain plug screws. One looks like a regular screw and the other is a screw with a point on the end. Which on goes where? Out of curiosity, why does it matter?. I laid them both down together................Thanks in advance!

Ayuh,.....

The 1 with the Pointy end, is a Magnet,....
It goes inthe Bottom, to collect Filings.....
