Did they? I was just on evinrude.com and they listed Evinrude still. I also will say I don't follow current stuff and what comes out and who still is in business or who sold out. Did they drop the Evinrude line or sell the name and no one is making one now?Customs and Duty aren't much of an issue these days compared to the Outright Gouging by the Middlemen in the supply chain.
I just deal with the local Dealer. That said Genuine OMC parts are going to get rarer as BRP has gotten out of the Marine Engine Business
BRP dropped it and it's now defunctDid they? I was just on evinrude.com and they listed Evinrude still. I also will say I don't follow current stuff and what comes out and who still is in business or who sold out. Did they drop the Evinrude line or sell the name and no one is making one now?
Yep I put an edit on my post but apparently I didn't hit save.BRP dropped it and it's now defunct
Yea , when I re read that press release, it sounded to me like they would enter the market again at some point with something. The Evinrude and Johnson brand names are owned by BRP.-----Evinrude is not marketing outboard motors at this time.----But who knows what they might put on the market next month or next year !----Think ELECTRIC of some kind.
T top solar panels and gunwales. And yes I know that's not enough to make a drop in the bucket for what it takes to get there and back. HahahaNot many charging stations offshore, that's for sure. That brings up another problem, a few less than bright owners will electrocute themselves by running an Extension Cord from the Cottage, down to the Dock to recharge their boats.
