Optimax 200hp goes crazy over 10 knots

I recently hit something underwater and got a new propellor and propellor shaft fitted by a boat mechanic. But when I accelerate over only 10 knots the boat pulls sharply to the side (its a rib and one side actually goes under the water) and won't perform properly.
Any ideas - please??

Hi there,

Look at your anticavitation plate there is a small skag just above the prop on the underside of the plate. It should have a bolt in the center alowing it to pivot. Chances are it is in the wrong position. Looking at it from behind the motor adjust it in the direction of pull/lean.

- boat pulls right move it to the right
- boat pulls left move it to the left

Only move it small increments until she runs straight and dont forget to re tighten it after each change.
