Your truck is powerful enough to tow almost any boat short of a navy aircraft carrier. But if you have limited or no experience in towing large trailers with heavy load, I would not try to learn doing it on the long and winding freeway with altitude changes. If you do set your mind on doing so (which is not advisable) try to practice towing it on a fairly short distance to get used to the weight behind. Also check the trailer, tires, lights and if you can, bearings, breaks and hubs. Either way, you are better off letting a professional driver do the job. Even if now it seems like waste of money.
