I like that one too. You can download a simulator for it at eaglesonar.com and try it out.

Depends on how you are going to use it. Shallow Fresh water under 100 feet or salt water less than 50 feet would be a good unit.<br /><br />Fishing Saltwater over 50 feet do not waste your money. Get something that will see fish.

I think you misunderstood Selles. They are saying, and I agree, the unit you reference is fine for fresh water under 100 feet.
