Opinions needed on first boat purchase....2004 Q4

I'm looking at a 2004 Q4 with the 4.3 190hp engine. The guy claims it has less than 50 hours on it. I haven't seen it yet but he said the only things wrong with it is a small hole in one of the bow seat cushions and a couple scuffs on the rails. It's been stored under a tarp and a canopy.

It comes with a bimini top, 8 life jackets, tube, ropes and a anchor. He's asking $10000 for it. Is this a good price on it? Is there anything I should ask him or look for when I look at the boat? This will be my first boat purchase and I just need some advice. Thanks.

Seems kind of pricey for a 2004. I have seen 2008's and 2009's, brand new for around 17K. I think I would keep looking.

I haven't seen anything new for less than 18k and that was with the smaller engine. The boat I'm looking at has the 4.3 not the 3.0.

Any other opinions?

I purchased an 04 Q4 with a 3.0 this summer for $8000. It came with a brand new cover, life jackets, color fish finder/GPS, trolling motor, and rod holders. My boat looks brand new besides a little fading on the trailer and I had to put new tires on the trailer.
