FINAL UPDATE: She's back in the water!

I'm embarrassed to post this but I was at anchor and dragged ashore. With my luck, wouldn't you know it was a rocky shore? Ouch.

Anywho, now I've got some repair work to do. What are your thoughts on the damage I took on?

Rudder:

Keel:

Hull:

I've never done this before, but found a great guide online. Section 2 or Section 4 for the hull and Section 8.2 for the keel? How about the rudder?

PS - The yard I'm at quoted me at $10k? Is that reasonable? I was a bit shocked and decided it would be a DIY project.

Thanks!

UPDATE - The keel took on more damage than I thought!

FINAL UPDATE: She's back in the water!

welcome aboard.

the scars look pretty minimal. read the stickies at the top of the forum. you have a small amount of fiberglass work, about a weekends worth. most of your time will be spent cleaning the barnacles prior to the repair.

I would agree, not really commplicated repair work. The lead keel is the easiest, just "bondo" for that. You are just looking to give that a fair & smooth surface again, no real 'fiberglass' work needed there - just be aware & careful of lead dust when sanding.
I will say you generally can't go wrong following the "WEST" guidelines.

A quick update: I took a closer look at the keel. It looks like she may have suffered more damage than I thought. There's a crack in the paint. This crack extends all the way around the keel. Is this bad?

Starboard
Port

The yard I'm at peeled some of the paint away in order to provide me an estimate:

Is this the weighted keel:

The rest of the damage looks like it may be much more involved then a weekends work. $10K's worth? IDK  A good bit though.........

If that's ablative paint, depending on what it's made of, there may be a good bit of PPE required to remove it before repairs can be made. It may not be a DIY project that should (can?) be done in your yard.

Bummer about getting dragged up on the rocks.

Any thoughts on the crack at the keel joint? Does it need re-bedding or just some caulk? Thanks.
