What is the proper operating temperature for a 1983 15 hp Evinrude? How do I measure it? What do I use?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Paul

About 140-150 degrees.<br /><br />The simple way is to try to hold your hand on the top cylinder head. It should be warm to the touch, but should not burn you.
