Opening Day

Went to opening day today, the Pirates vs the Brewers at Miller Park.<br /><br />1) People will pee just about anywhere (sink, between cars...etc)<br /><br />2) The 2 beers per I.D. rule is not enforceable and has no effect on the overall drunkeness (WI people will know what I am talking about.......It ust makes more people get out of their seats every 10 min because it takes more I.D.s to get the beer)<br /><br />3) Its funny to see 45,000 people boo when someone proposes marriage on the big screen.<br /><br />4) $6 for beer is ridiculous considering the Miller brewery is within eyesight of the stadium.<br /><br />5) Spending the day with my dad at a game is always great.<br /><br />6) Hot coals in a SS bowl are HOT!!!

I might be going out on a limb here...<br />Those that hail from Wisconsin might not be the brightest, but they are faithful.... ....JK

Ridiculous, yes. But all things are relative. Our beer at the Class A Peoria Chiefs games are $5.50 for a 16oz. So quit whining. <br />I went to the BOB in Phoenix in 2001, and a 16oz beer was $8!!!! It was the first baseball game I have been to as a legal drinker, where I did not have a beer!

Never been to a pro baseball game went to a hockey game and came home broke $8a beer done forgot what the hotdog cost but i rembered for what i spent that night i could've grilled out bought beer and invited friends over and would have come out cheaper

LOL. lots of idiots come out for opening day......most won't go to any other game all year. There is normally a pretty decent group of people.

I used to go every year. But it is so cold most of the time and I had to take customers. I go to one or two games a year with my wife and or dad, and I always appreciate going. The stadium is great and the level of ball seems to be improving. <br /><br />Go Brew Crew. We are a loyal bunch don't yea know.
