Hey guys I am coming to for help. As the title says I am only getting spark out of half of the distributor. I have already replace the ignition coil, new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, ignition module, and pickup coil. I am still at a loss. Anyone have any ideas what I should be looking at. At idle the engine has a miss but will idle at about 700 rpm. At full throttle the engine sounds horrible and we have been only able to achieve 2100 rpm. Please help. I've only gotten to take it out once and the wife is starting to get upset. Thanks guys!

Welcome Brad.

The experts are going to need to know what motor you have. They're fussy that way.
Serial numbers help too.

For a 18horse outboard that just about right and I guess your running on 1 cylinder then

I got the firing order down. What my problem is is that I am only getting a spark on two cylinders. There is no spark going to the other two cylinders.

Try swapping a sparkplug wire to see if it follows the wire ,just because there new dosent mean they work
Check the air gap on the reluctor points
