Well, I sold my KF last week. Only took 9 minutes after I listed it. The first hit was 1 minute after listing. Guy wanted me to allow a $500 discount because he wanted to give me his kayak in trade. Nope.
The second guy texted me 8 minutes later and ended up as the actual buyer.
Sometimes, quality stuff can bring a good price quickly.
On the flip side, projects can take awhile to sell, even at a reasonable price. Because it's a project, they figure they can get it cheap. I had a guy message me at 11:30pm last night, asking me to split my Chieftain sale to not include the twin engines. Told him I'd sleep on it and get back to him in the morning.
This morning I agreed to do the split, quoted him my price and advised that it was firm. He replied this evening that we aren't in the same ball park. I guess he wanted the hull & trailer for free.
