one simple gasket question ?

In carb. gasket kit # 18-7815 for a 1982 50 hp.mariner 5964738 why the double gasket in the set ? 2 just alike one lighter collor, should i use them both or just one ?

Just use the gaskets that pertain to your carbs. there extra parts in those kits
