I have a shorelander trailer, had one wheel cylinder replaced last year, the other the year before. the trailer is a dual axle with one set of brakes. When i go to get the trailer to put the boat on, one of the trailer brakes is locked up, and i have to crack a fitting to release it. This Brake NEVER locks up with the boat on the trailer...What would be causing this? Bob

Leaky grease seal may have contaminated the brake lining.

1 More Idea,.......

When you Park the Trailer,...... Make Sure the Last Motion is in a forward direction,......
That way the Brakes are Released,+ in a Relaxed position,......
That way,.. They Shouldn't Hang Up.......

If one of the wheel cylinders leaked brake fluid on a shoe, that will cause a shoe to stick to the drum.

If you have to crack the fitting to release it, the system must be pressurized.

Crude build up - change the fluid and give the system a good bleed through.
