Well, until Bob opened his big mouth, it was a secret. ;)

Re: Once Upon A Time

Forget about uboats ever taking over this world. If you have to go to the lengths we have to go to, just to get connected.......it ain't ever going to happen.
Plus, and I'm not sour over this, but I can't even purchase product from them, and I have wanted to on 2 different occasions.
It is a great site, with great (and interesting) (Ray.... :D ) people, so if the Boss-man says I can't tell Okker jokes, that's fine by me.
Just enjoy it for what it is.
Cheers
Phillip

txswinner,

This IS a private site. I think they would allow smoking, while posting. ;) :D It is NOT: www.usgov.org.

If you do not like the moderators, or their moderating, you are welcome to comply, or leave.

Many would like to see me leave. However, I have adapted and stay within the bounds of what the moderators see as posting in good taste.

Labels are very inflamatory, I TRY to avoid them, not always succesfully-I'll admit. If I do so, it is not intentional.

This is, IMHO, the best boat site on the internet. The knowledge and willingness to share that knowledge/experience is incredible, in my book.

Let's not spoil it.

Sometimes, humility, is the best policy. Been there.

DJ, How come only one particular (remaining unnamed to avoid any personal attack)moderator keeps busting all the liberal idealist chops. Five of six never seem to get personally involved in spats that result in their use or abuse of power.

Re: Once Upon A Time

TXS, because you do not know who the other mods are. You only know them as mod 4, or mod 5, or mod... JB is the only mod that uses his "real" screen name when moderating as well as participating. This sometimes makes it difficult for some to distinquish between the mod and the man. But think of his as the iboats dad. He can be fun to talk to, give advice, and dole out the punishment at the same time. And if your dad was anything like mine, he didn't have to be impartial either, but I loved him for who he was and what he did.

Oh god, now we're a family?!
Like it or not, we are.

Since the American family has been destroyed (purposely so-by convenience), this is all we have, in many aspects.

I like this iboats family. We have our "experts" and our "nuts".

I am both. I'll at least admit I am the latter.

WOW, I understand but darn we have taken out some really useful words. The second word missing means odd, unusual against the norm.

Before I get jumped I was really asking for knowledge not impact.
