Can you use a 93 oil tank on a 98 oil pump? I see that p/n are diff. ie; cap, primer bulb, pickup assy.

thanks clanton, may i ask (because i dont know) how are the sensors diff and what relation do they have with the pump itself?

In 93 the sensor was a micro processor...they changed it to a simple switch later on.

The low oil sensor in my tank is a plunger that makes contact, 93 or 98? Bought boat used, 93 boat 98 motor

the plunger portion is the same? The switch\processor portion is built into the pickup cap.
Thats where they differ.
