I am disassembling, cleaning, and re-assembling a 1986 OMC Remote Control (P/N 173646)

I am looking for guidance on what lubricant I should use for the various mating interfaces:
  • Metal on Metal Contact (cams etc.) and Nylon Washers: Would OMC Triple Guard Grease be acceptable?
  • Spring Loaded Plastic detent ball interface and plastic sliding block in metal slot: Would OMC Tripple Guard be acceptable or would a PTFE lubricant be more appropriate?
  • It seems "Oilite" like bushings are used on shaft interfaces: Would a light non detergent oil be best?
Thanks for any guidance you can provide in regard to lubricant choices.

Thanks for the reply. I used the lubricants described above except I used white lithium instead of the PTFE for the plastic on metal interfaces.

I also discovered a section in my service manual on remote control servicing. Even though it wasn't my single lever part number, the information was helpful.
