New boat to me first time on water. Previous owner put a new power steering pump and new automotive belts on. Within 10 minutes of boating power steering belt broke , got caught up in other belt broke it too. Had a pull back to dock. Got new marine belts put them on and went back out again, this time lost the inspection plug on drive. engine got hot we shut off in gear. Now we have a new plug but engine wont start and shifter seems like its stuck so we cant get neutral. When turn ignition on gauges come on but no click or any noise from anything else. 50 amp fuse ok. Was wondering if i can unplug anything to overide the neutral safety switch. This is a 1989 Bayliner 2650
