So just how do you replace those O rings anyway.I have read that they are so easy to rplace and would prefer to replace them when necessary rather than spend 6 or 7 bucks for a new fuel line connecter when they start to leak. Any suggestions. I am sure many others would be interested in this thread. Thanks.

It's easy...(yeah...famous last words)....

Take a stiff piece of small wire and bend a little hook in the end. The stiffer the wire the better.

Take a blunt tool like a small punch and push the connectors ball down and then with the hook wire, reach in and grab the old oring and pull it out. Make sure you get it all out.

Lube a new oring and just push it in place.

Like anything else, sometimes this goes easy....sometimes you can fool around for 10 minutes picking the old oring out.

EDIT: Forgot to add...if you lightly hold the connector in a vise so you can use both hands does help.

You'll probably damage the soft thin plastic around it. Checkball too. Be careful. Oil the old one before removing and coat the new one too. Dental picks work great.

A crochet hook does the job well without damaging the rest of the fitting.

Thank You all. A vise, crochet hook/dental pick a bit of patience and my reading glasses.
