OMC exhaust manifolds

I need to replace the exhaust manifolds on my early 80's OMC 185 with a 5.0L chevy. The manifolds I am taking off have 2 drain ports and a hose connection on the front of the manifold and the port manifold has another hose connection on the bottom. All of the used and aftermarker manifolds I've found do not have the 3rd hose connection on the bottom of the port manifold. Can I use these manifolds and run the water hoses differently or do I need to continue to look for the identical parts. Thanks

Check to see if the replacement manifolds perhaps have a plug there. Sometimes the holes are there and plugged, requiring you to remove the plug and insert a hose fitting. The threads are normally NPT, so no big deal.
