Sorry...don't know what happened to the link I put in my previous post but I meant to link to the Pertronix page, down at the bottom it shows a diagram to wire diodes to work with OMC ESA, it even gives Radio Shack PN's Pertronix OMC/ESA Support

I rechecked my total advance and it was 22 degrees with an initial setting of 10 BTDC. So I pulled the distributor, took it apart, cleaned everything and tried it again. Still only 22 degrees total advance. I did notice the lower bushing is worn so I'm sure the distributor wobbles at high speed. I may have to get a new unless anyone knows of a rebuild kit for the distributor.
