Re: OMC Chevy 350 Rough Idle

Okay so before everything gets shipped in and installed I've been reading about the Delco Voyger EST a little more and my question is do I need to worry about a shift interrupter switch since I have an electric shift? It's my understanding that electric shifts do not have one.

No shift interrupter on electric shifts. Should be a simple conversion.

Re: OMC Chevy 350 Rough Idle

The fuel filter was replaced when I rebuilt the carb as well as a brand new fuel line from the pump to the carb. There wasn't a fuel filter there when I took the carb apart for some weird reason. The previous owners probably got lazy and figured they would rely on the fuel water separator filter. Either way it has one now. Still waiting on the new fuel pump and distributor to come in. I figured I might as well go ahead and take that restricting plate out of the exhaust stream and replace it some how. Plan is to use a couple layers of paper gasket and black silicon to seal the coolant off instead. I know that's not the most preferred method but it should work with an aggressive amount of silicon. The risers stay ice cold anyways so there shouldn't be a problem with heat attacking the seal. Let me know what you guys think.

Re: OMC Chevy 350 Rough Idle

So does anyone have the instructions manual for this Delco Voyager EST? Mine didn't come with one and I've been going through all the related post to see if I can piece together a wiring diagram but almost everything posted for OMC is for the shift interrupter and I obviously don't need one.

Thanks
