Omc 4.3l

I have a 21ft Four Winns Sundowner and it has a OMC Sterndrive with the OMC 4.3L. I was wondering if anyone had good advice on pulling the motor out for evaluation. Second I am not familiar with the sterndrive I dont know if it is a pain to seperate from the engine.

Can't give any insight on pulling the motor on a 21' Sundowner. As far as pulling the Cobra drive it's 6 nuts on the drive and the 2 for the T/T. The 2 most important things you will need are the service manual and Stewart Hastings Cobra info. A question thou. Why would you want to pull the motor for evaluation. I would think the most important basic checks could be done with the motor in place.
