OMC 215 from 1967

Hi<br /><br />I have bought an vintage snowmobile called Johnson Skee-Horse. It has an OMC 215 engine with 14 hp. Someone told me that it was the kind of the same engine as in the boats, so therefore i write to you all.<br /><br />I need to get my hands on a cylinder and a piston. Does anyone know where i should turn to find it...<br /><br />It's a 1967, Serial no:01081, spec no;161088<br /><br />Thanks in advance<br /><br />Ulf Berglund, Sweden

if the motor is the same as an old outboard, you could try twin city outboard online. I think they have pretty much everything for old motors. I had no idea that johnson used to make sleds. Maybe thats why bombardier bought them, for that snowmobile technology.
