I went to bed at the start ... needed to be up early to start working on a funeral meal. Watched the game this morning. US girls just could not come back. 3-2 final.
Just watched the ladies skate. Russian girl fell about 5 times ... ended up in 4th place so there will be a medal ceremony after all. They are showing everyone walking around, crying, etc. The ROC girl that won the gold was standing there all alone ... so much attention taken away from the athletes that deserved the attention. Just sad and crazy it wasn't handled better ... that the people around this young girl didn't care enough to PROTECT her from all of this by not giving her the drugs. So sad all the way around.
