Just bought an older Motorguide Brute which has the foot control to control high speed or variable speed thru a rheostat. The motor works in high speed bypass, but when i try to run it thru the speed control rheostat it stays at one speed and does not adjust. I purchased another rheostat today and it did not fix the problem. It is not a big deal that it works but if it is an easy fix I wouldnt mind fixing it. Any help would be great. Thanks Wayne
