Sorry it took me so long to wander Way down here,...
This is My Atlantis, as it showed up here a few years ago,...
I've since started stripping it down for a Refit,...
I'm going back together with a SBC,+ Bravo I drive, running a Jackshaft...
I'm moving the motor ahead about 18"/ 2', so I'll be able to walk around the motor box, at the transom,...
I'm a Fisherman,+ this'll be a Fishing boat....
This had the lovely 351W/ OMC Stringer drive when I got it...

Even though I rarely wander down here,...
I can Always be found up in the I/O- motors Forum...

I'm a proud owner of a 1968 Old Town Atlantis 2560 also. Dan if your still around get in touch. I wonder how you knew that they built the Atlantis from 1964-74? Any history would be appreciated. Refit mine from the ole OMC to a Mercruiser Alpha 5.7, hoping to splash it here within a month. Looking forward to a ride to see how it handles the rough stuff. Bondo and i are in touch as he's an Atlantis owner also. Good luck with your Atlantis projects people!

Just registered to this forum and I just purchased a 1968 Old Town Atlantis 2560 in August. I live on Cape Cod, Ma. and boat and fish in Vineyard and Nantucket sounds. I have been very impressed with the boat's handling rough seas.
