I'm looking for the 'old style/ logo' ( not sure what to call it ) Mercruiser valve covers for a SBC. I know the Fords used them and I have seen 120 4cyls and 165 6cyl's with covers that had that style, but cannot seem to pinpoint if they were ever made for the SBC's. I'm talking the covers like this, just ones that fit a SBC.. The decals alone will do but I have yet to locate ANY valve cover decals. Carver 30' w Mercruiser 225 Ford 5 8L Set Valve Covers | eBay

PS: I'm assuming the above link is what you need for an older SBC, with the 4 mounting holes on the edges. The newer ones have 4 down the middle of the valve cover.

That's the newer style decal. I'd like the old black and silver decal, but I can't find it for the SBC's. I know there are several sets of 260 covers on Ebay and some 898's, but nothing with the older "MerCruiser Marine"
decal. I know they were used before 1980 but I'm not sure on MR/R's or what. Not Alpha's of course.
