I have an older 10ft jon boat from sears, model number is 811.621070 how do I find out what year it was made?

I don't think it's easily possible. www.searspartsdirect.com doesn't show anything.

If there's no tag on the boat, it was probably made before 1972, when such tags were required.

Why do you want to know the year? No parts are available.

My uncle gave it to me years ago and I live in Mass and want to register it and they require having the year of the boat, the information tag on the boat only gives model number and serial number and how many people, motor size, ect.ect. but no date that it was made. Any help is greatly appreciated
